You can browse the entire library, open any issue and see its contents, its cover and its writers, without an account and without paying. Reading the pages themselves is what a subscription buys.

Yes, with Echo Pro. Download an issue, a book or an audio edition and it stays on your device for the flight, the commute or the patchy signal.

Echo Pro is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. Prices are set per country by the App Store and Google Play, so the amount you see in the app is the amount you pay.

Yes. Urdu is set in Nastaliq on its own size and leading ladder, because Nastaliq descends steeply across a word and needs close to twice the vertical space a Latin line does. Direction is handled per line, so a mixed page does not fall apart.

Most monthly issues are published as an Urdu edition and an English edition of the same issue. Books and storybooks are published in the language they were written in, and the language is shown on every item.

Yes. The English editions stand on their own, and having the same issue in both languages is how a lot of families use it: the parent reads the Urdu, the child reads the English, and they are talking about the same article.

There is a section of storybooks and short bedtime stories written for young readers, plus digests aimed at them. It sits in its own tab in the app.

Not today. One subscription belongs to one account. If several readers in your household need their own, write to us and we will work out what makes sense.

No. An account is what a subscription attaches to, and what remembers your place and your saved items. Browsing needs neither.
