No menu, no long-press guessing. Bookmarks collect in your library beside your saved items and your finished shelf.

"Continue reading" is the first thing on the home screen, and the finished shelf keeps what you have completed, so a long book across three weeks is not an act of memory.

The dark theme is not pure black. Text on pure black at night is harder to read, not easier, so it sits on a warm near-black instead.

Storybooks and short bedtime stories, with their own tab and their own pace.
Stories are short enough to finish before sleep, and the storybooks are grouped so a child can carry on with one they started. It is a section of the library, not a separate app to manage.
There are no parental controls, no algorithmic recommendations, no separate child profiles, and no free reading tier. Some of those may come; none of them exist today, and we would rather you knew that before you paid than after.
