These terms cover the EchoReads app and this website. Using either means you accept them.
Your account
An account is personal to you. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them. You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live.
Subscriptions
Echo Pro is bought inside the app through the App Store or Google Play, and it renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel through your store account; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you have paid for ends. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us.
Prices are set per country by the stores. The price shown to you at purchase is the price that applies.
What you may do with the content
Everything in the library is protected by copyright, held by EchoReads or by the writers and publishers we work with. Your subscription lets you read, listen to and download it for your own use. It does not let you republish it, redistribute it, sell it, or feed it into a system that reproduces it.
What you send us
If you submit writing to us, you keep the copyright in it. You confirm that it is your own work and that you may share it, and you give us permission to read it, edit it with you, and publish it if it is accepted. Nothing is published without coming back to you first.
Availability
We try to keep the service running and the library growing, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or that any particular title will stay available. Publishing rights change.
Ending it
You can stop using EchoReads at any time and delete your account. We may suspend an account that is being used to redistribute the library or to abuse other people.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will change the date above and tell you in the app.
